2022年，格鲁吉亚政治形势总体稳定，执政党与反对派及总统分歧加大，国内政治极化特征凸显。乌克兰危机升级后，俄罗斯移民及汇款大量涌入格鲁吉亚，格抓住发展机遇，充分发挥旅游业及过境运输潜力，推动经济实现高速增长。在乌克兰危机中，格持较为审慎的态度和偏理性务实的立场，试图周旋在俄与西方之间，以保全本国的安全和经济利益，同时在继续坚持多元外交方向的基础上，深化与周边国家关系。中格关系保持健康稳定发展，中格共建“一带一路”取得积极进展。
In 2022，the overall political situation in Georgia remained stable，with increasing differences between the ruling party and the opposition，as well as the president. The polarization of domestic politics was highlighted. After the escalation of the crisis in Ukraine，a large number of Russian immigrants and remittances have flooded into Georgia. Georgia has seized development opportunities，fully utilized the potential of tourism and transit transportation，and promoted high-speed economic growth. In the Ukraine crisis，Georgia maintained a cautious attitude and a more rational and pragmatic stance，attempting to navigate between Russia and the West to ensure the security and economic interests of its own country. At the same time，while continuing to adhere to the direction of multi-direction diplomacy，Georgia deepened its relations with neighboring countries. China-Georgia relations have maintained healthy and stable development，and the China-Georgia joint construction of “the Belt and Road” initiative has made positive progress.
