In 2022，Tajikistan has a stable political situation，significant economic recovery，and positive social development. Under the leadership of President Rahmon，political reforms have progressed smoothly. With the end of the epidemic，the economy has shown a rapid development trend，foreign trade has gradually resumed，and industrial and agricultural production has achieved good results. Traditional diplomatic methods such as high-level visits have returned，and active diplomacy has brought new diplomatic achievements to Tajikistan. With the complexity of the situation in Afghanistan，the outbreak and continuation of the Russia-Ukraine conflict，as well as the border conflict with neighboring countries，pose a certain threat to Tajikistan’s national security. In 2022，Tajikistan will continue to promote comprehensive cooperation with China，and the high-level officials of the two countries will maintain close interaction. China and Tajikistan have made outstanding achievements in economic，trade，investment，people-to-people and cultural cooperation and many other fields. Several projects under the “the Belt and Road” framework have been completed and implemented，and the strategic partnership between the two countries has been further consolidated.
