After the presidential election and constitutional reform in 2022，Kyrgyzstan’s diplomatic focus has shifted. In the economic field，although the epidemic still has negative impacts，the economy of Kyrgyzstan has shown a positive growth trend. In the field of diplomacy and security，Kyrgyzstan’s national security and external relations this year mainly revolve around border conflicts and the Afghan issue. In terms of China-Kyrgyzstan Belt and Road cooperation，after the end of the presidential election and constitutional reform，the domestic political situation in Kyrgyzstan has gradually stabilized，China-Kyrgyzstan relations have maintained stable and forward development，and both sides have maintained close communication and political mutual trust. However，affected by border conflicts and Afghan issues，China-Kyrgyzstan Belt and Road cooperation still faces many risks.
