Syria is a close ally of Iran，and Iran is a loyal supporter of the Bashar regime in Syria. In 2019，the alliance between Iran and Syria is further consolidated and developed. The two countries maintain close dialogue and friendly cooperation in political，economic，security and cultural fields. With the easing of the situation in the Syrian battlefield and the opening of the reconstruction of the country，Iran’s geopolitical game with all parties on the Syrian issue has entered a new stage，which is mainly manifested in the subtle cooperation with Russia，the escalation of confrontation with the United States，and the intensification of military conflicts and diplomatic games with neighboring countries. The alliance between Iran and Syria will be tested in the future.
