Policy consultation and feedback mechanisms play a crucial role in administrative management，and assessing the government’s role in this process is essential for constructing a more just and efficient governance system. This assessment focuses on various aspects of policy consultation and feedback mechanisms，including the development of communication channels，the diversity and visualization of feedback forms，and the timeliness and effectiveness of government responses. The results of the assessment indicate that local governments have made significant progress in advancing reforms of policy consultation and feedback mechanisms，actively promoting the construction of digital government service platforms，and facilitating the optimization of policy formulation and implementation processes. However，there are some issues，such as some local governments formalizing the governance structure and system when guiding corporate behavior，resulting in inadequate resolution of corporate issues. Local governments should prioritize improving the transparency of consultation agency information，enhancing feedback mechanisms，diversifying ways in which the government responds to consultation results，to further enhance governance efficiency，promote social participation，and seamlessly integrate digital governance.
