The mechanism for business exits stands as a crucial element in igniting market vitality. Enhancing the exit mechanisms for market entities，reducing exit costs，holds significant importance in boosting market competitiveness and fostering the dynamism of market entities. This assessment under the primary indicator of “Business Exits and Government-Related Services” incorporates two secondary indicators and two tertiary indicators，reflecting，from different perspectives，the level of government-provided business exit services in the assessed cities during this evaluation period. Despite comprehensive development in the streamlined exit mechanisms，there remains a need to intensify efforts in constructing bankruptcy resolution mechanisms for business exits，and further regulation of the “exit timeframe” flexibility. It is recommended to strengthen intergovernmental collaboration，establish municipal-level bankruptcy case disposal mechanisms，refine regulations to shorten exit timeframes，and promote information disclosure，thereby enhancing the efficiency and transparency of business exits.
