Hanguowenyuan is a collection of Korean poems compiled by Cho So-ang，an exiled Korean writer who came to China. It has a comprehensive selection of materials and a large publication scale，which has very important literature value. Cho So-ang showed the excellent culture of Korea to the world through Hanguowenyuan，and there are many anti-Japanese and patriotic works in the book，which compares the ancient to the present and shows the determination to pursue national independence in the face of Japanese imperialist aggression. Cho So-ang tried to affirm the national character from the Korean traditional culture. In the context of the Chinese revolution，he formed a sense of community with a shared future between China and Korea，and overthrew Japan’s imperial power and cultural hegemony through Sino-Korean cooperation，which was a historical choice endowed by common national interests in a special historical era.
