Christianity is closely related to the political development process in ROK. Christianity in ROK experienced the coordinated development of politics and religion with Rhee Syngman’s dictatorship and the upsurge of democratic struggle with Park Chung-hee’s dictatorship，which further promoted the transformation of ROK’s democratic politics. During the transition of ROK’s politics from authoritarianism to democracy，Christianity actively participated in the democratization construction，became the leader and supporter of citizen’s democracy movement，and was an extremely important leading force in the democratization construction of ROK，which had profound historical and practical significance for the development of the democratization process of ROK.
