From the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century,a lot of Sino-Kharosthi Coins was found in the Hetian area of the southern line of the middle part of the Silk Road, where the southern margin of the Tarim Basin, and its prototype came from the ancient Gandhara region. At that time,a large number of coins with double-sided imprinting inscriptions were found at various sites in the Gandhara region, especially at the Taxila Buddhist site. Through the combing and comparative study of these two kinds of coins,we can see that the Gandhara’s attribute of Sino-Kharosthi Coins,Thisalso indirectly reflects the historical facts of the spread of Buddhist culture and art from Gandhara to Western China.
