The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China（CPC）has drawn up a grand blueprint for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation by comprehensively promoting Chinese-style modernisation，and has made overall arrangements for fully promoting rural revitalisation. In the contemporary global context，where digital transformation is being comprehensively promoted worldwide，the digital economy has indeed become one of the important means to promote the development of rural revitalisation. For certain financial institutions，especially small and medium-sized banks in rural areas，which play a key role in the provision of rural financial services，there is a heightened need to more diligently build a digital financial services system. This is crucial for the further development of rural revitalisation. This dissertation will analyse the corresponding strategies of financial institutions in the field of rural revitalisation from the perspective of the digital economy. Furthermore，this dissertation will also use real cases of different types of commercial banks that have used the digital economy to support rural revitalisation to substantiate the positive influence of the digital economy in this area. Finally，based on the problems encountered in its promotion and practical application，the recommended policy will be proposed for further development.
