On the basis of clarifying the mechanism of the digital economy empowering the development of the entire agricultural industry chain，this article verifies the theoretical mechanism based on the practice of Linying County，Luohe City，Henan Province，and further explores the experience and existing problems. Research has shown that the digital economy，with its diverse empowering effects，promotes the full connectivity of the entire agricultural industry chain and effectively promotes high-quality agricultural development. However，there are still some shortcomings in the supply side of the digital economy that affect its empowering effect. Improving the development efficiency of the entire agricultural industry chain empowered by the digital economy is not only about the innovation and application of agricultural digital technology，but also perfecting the construction of rural digital infrastructure，cultivating multi-level digital talent，strengthening the integration and sharing of agricultural digital resources，and improving the compatibility between the development of the entire agricultural industry and the digital economy.
