面对不确定的世界、多样化的社会和快速发展的教育,新加坡立足学生发展与评价,从国家教育系统、教师教学和学生成长等视角在学生学习、课程、教学、考试等方面推陈出新。“全面取消中小学阶段年中考试”“全面科目编班”“全学科分级计划”“改进PSLE评分系统”等改革举措旨在培养学生21世纪所需的能力,着眼于自身可持续学习而非在与他人比较中学习,并朝向“学无止境”方向发展,表现出面向终身学习发展大规模定制教育、增强基础教育评价政策改革的韧性、灵活改进适应学生发展的评价体系等特征,为学生可持续发展提供更多“学无止境”的机会,从而为新加坡基础教育改革不断塑造新动能。
In the face of an uncertain world,a diverse society,and rapidly developing education,Singapore aims at promoting the students’ development and evaluation by reforming the students’ learning,curriculum,teaching and examination from the perspectives of the national education system,teacher teaching and student growth. Specifically,comprehensive elimination of mid-year examinations,comprehensive subject streaming,comprehensive subject-based banding,and improvement of PSLE scoring system were the main measures designed to cultivate students’ ability in the 21st century,focusing on their own sustainable learning rather than compared with others in learning,and towards the direction of “learn for life”. This demonstrates three features,such as the mass customisation education approach towards lifelong learning development,the resilience of foundational education evaluation policy reforms,flexible improvements in adapting evaluation systems to student development. These initiatives provide more opportunities for students to learn for life,thereby continuously shaping new momentum for Singapore’s foundational education reform.
