In recent years，the marital behavior of young adults has received much attention. After the release of the seventh census data，the fertility policy has been significantly adjusted to the “three-child policy”，and the closely related marriage issue should also attract attention. In this paper，we study the current situation and factors influencing the marriage behavior of Jilin residents，and find that the decreasing number of marriages is mainly influenced by the aging of the population，the changing economic situation and the increasing cost of marriage in Jilin Province；the increasing age of first marriage is mainly due to the significant increase in the average years of education；the divorce rate in Jilin Province is higher than the national average，which is to some extent influenced by the outflow of population. These data show the changes in the concept of life，quality of life and attitudes of Jilin residents. This paper proposes countermeasures to improve the marital environment in Jilin Province in response to these characteristics.
