人口老龄化已成为吉林省面临的最主要的人口问题之一。加速老年友好型社区建设是吉林省践行积极应对人口老龄化国家战略的新落脚点。近年来，围绕全国示范性老年友好型社区创建工作，吉林省各地纷纷开始了老年友好型社区建设的探索，目前已在规划指导、示范社区创建、社区养老服务供给等方面取得了一定的成效，但仍面临“未富先老”、缺乏配套性政策支持、政府资金投入社区养老服务不足、农村地区建设老年友好型社区的基础薄弱等问题。吉林省加速建设老年友好型社区，需要充分吸收外省市先进经验，加强政策引导，进行全局性规划设计，构建多元主体参与模式，建立健全长期动态评估机制，构筑安全舒适的老年生活空间，搭建社区老年服务网络，营造尊重关爱老年人的人文环境，统筹城乡发展，补齐农村养老服务短板等。
Population aging has become one of the most important population problems faced by Jilin Province. Accelerating the construction of elderly friendly communities is a new foothold for Jilin Province to implement the national strategy of actively coping with population aging. In recent years，around the construction of national demonstration elderly friendly communities，Jilin Province has begun to explore the construction of elderly friendly communities. At present，certain achievements have been made in planning guidance，the construction of demonstration communities，the supply of community elderly care services，etc.，but it is still facing the problem such as “getting old before getting rich”，lack of supporting policy support，insufficient government investment in community elderly care services，the weak foundation of building elderly friendly communities in rural areas. To accelerate the construction of the elderly friendly community in Jilin Province，we need to fully absorb the advanced experience of other provinces and cities，strengthen policy guidance，carry out overall planning and design，build a multi subject participation model，establish and improve a long-term dynamic evaluation mechanism，build a safe and comfortable elderly friendly space，build a community elderly service network，create a humanistic environment that respects and cares for the elderly，coordinate urban and rural development，and complement the shortcomings of rural elderly care services.
