随着世界逐渐摆脱了新冠疫情的长期影响，人们对全球范围内首选居住城市的要求也发生了变化。波士顿咨询公司于2023年3月发布的调查报告《首选之城：人们居住的地方幸福吗？》为新时期城市吸引移民提供了重要参考。该调查报告主要从城市的经济机会、生活质量、社会资本、与当局政府的互动以及变革速度五个维度构建评价指标体系，将居民的主观满意度与城市客观社会经济数据相结合，使得评价结果具有全面性和创新性。本调查报告还对涉及评价的城市与居民进行分类，以便城市管理者了解城市问题的根源，为吸引移民做出针对性改变。相关评价结果和政策启示为我国新时期不同规模城市的规划与建设提供指导借鉴。
As the world gradually gets rid of the long-term impact of the COVID-19 epidemic，people’s requirements for the preferred residential city have also changed. The survey report Cities of Choice：Are People Happy Where They Live？released by the Boston Consulting Group（BCG）in March 2023 provides an important reference for cities attracting immigrants in the new period. This survey report mainly constructs an evaluation index system from five dimensions：economic opportunities，quality of life，social capital，interactions with authorities，and the speed of change. It combines residents’ subjective satisfaction with objective socio-economic data of the city，making the evaluation results comprehensive and innovative. This survey report also categorizes the cities and residents involved in the evaluation，which could help city managers to understand the root causes of urban problems and make targeted changes to attract immigrants. The relevant evaluation results and policy implications provide guidance and reference for urban planning and construction of different scale cities in China in the new period.
