From the end of the Northern Song Dynasty to the beginning of the Southern Song Dynasty,Fuzhou published the Dongchansi and Kaiyuansi editions of Buddhist canon in succession, thus not only creating the first private edition of Buddhist canons, but also becoming the origin of Buddhist canons engraved in Jiangnan area since then. In addition to the eight extant sets of the Fuzhou editions(a mixed collection of the Dongchansi and Kaiyuansi editions),there are also thousands of scattered copies in major libraries at home and abroad. Therefore, with reference to survey reports, catalogs of rare books, databases, and other related studies published by collecting units or research teams, this paper reorganizes the current status of the Fuzhou editions of Buddhist canon and their rare copies in monasteries, repositories, libraries, and museums at home and abroad,in the hope of providing scholars with information for their future research on the subject. It is hoped that this will provide scholars with inexpensive information for future research on Buddhist canons.
