2019～2020年，中国和阿联酋在建立全面战略伙伴关系的基础上，双边关系继续保持全面、快速发展。阿联酋在国内政局整体稳定的情况下，分别在2019年和2020年进行了联邦国民议会选举和联邦政府改组。中国和阿联酋不仅高层互访频繁，还展开了抗击新冠肺炎疫情的政治合作。经济合作方面，两国在劳务承包、传统能源和新能源安合作、产能合作、合作投资等领域取得了新的进展。同时，两国在文化交流、科技方面的合作也不断深化。
The bilateral relations between China and the UAE have continued to maintain comprehensive and rapid development from 2019 to 2020，based on establishing a comprehensive strategic partnership. On one hand，the UAE has conducted federal National Assembly elections and federal government reorganization in 2019 and 2020，respectively with its stable domestic political situation. On the other hand，not only are the high-level exchanges between China and the UAE frequent，but also their political cooperation in fighting against the current pandemic is in-depth. With the continuous development of the bilateral relations，the two countries have made new progress in economic cooperation，such as labour contracts，traditional energy and new energy cooperation，capacity cooperation，and cooperative investment. Besides，China and the UAE are constantly deepening and promoting bilateral cooperation in cultural exchanges and science and technology.
