The media cooperation and exchanges are important parts of the relations between countries. The Chinese government attaches importance and supports mutual cooperation and exchanges in the media field with Arab countries，including the Gulf Arab states，and encourages the use of the media in enhancing China-Arab friendly relations，which play a unique role in promoting the construction and development of China-Arab strategic partnership. Under the framework of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum，the media exchange mechanism between China and the Gulf states has gradually matured and improved. The media cooperation and exchange channels of the two sides are diversified and the official and the non-governmental develop simultaneously. These diverse and rich media exchanges and cooperation become the important window of mutual understanding between the people of China and the Gulf states，which consolidate the social and public foundations for China-Arab friendly cooperation and build a China-Arab community with a shared future.
