2022～2023年度，英国的安全防务活动达到了前所未有的活跃程度，相关活动主要集中在四个领域。第一，国家安全战略持续更新，从大战略、经济、供应链、新兴技术、能源等角度继续出台新的安全战略。第二，在欧洲-大西洋区域，加大对乌克兰的支援力度，提高俄罗斯在俄乌冲突中的“成本”。第三，在印度-太平洋区域，继续推行印太倾斜政策，强化和日本、韩国、东盟国家的安全合作。第四，在中东，针对伊朗在发展核武器和俄乌冲突中的角色，采取制裁等手段。整体而言，英国安全防务活动的范围和程度达到了脱欧后的巅峰。
During 2022-2023，the UK’s security and defense activities reached an unprecedented level. The relevant activities in the UK were mainly concentrated in four areas. Firstly，the UK’s national security strategy was continuously updated，with new security strategies being introduced from the perspectives of grand strategy，economy，supply chain，emerging technologies，energy，etc. Secondly，in the Euro-Atlantic region，the UK increased its support for Ukraine，raising Russia’s “cost” in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Thirdly，in the Indo-Pacific region，the UK continued to implement an Indo-Pacific tilt policy and strengthened security cooperation with Japan，South Korea，and ASEAN countries. Fourthly，in the Middle East，the UK took a series of measures，such as sanctions against Iran’s development of nuclear weapons and the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Overall，the scope and degree of UK security and defense activities reached their peak after Brexit.
