2021年，良渚古城遗址总体格局、遗产要素单体保存完整，部分遗产使用功能正向变化，遗产病害得到有效控制，遗产主要影响因素均在持续有效监测之下，未发生自然灾害和人为破坏情况。出土的玉器等可移动文物均在符合要求的保藏环境中保存或展示。遗产区及缓冲区建设项目均经过了严格的审批流程和过程管控。遗产总体保护管理状况良好，遗产展示阐释、公众宣教和研究水平进一步提高，整体呈现正向发展，取得了较好的成绩。同时，在土遗址保护、展示阐释、专业力量完善等方面仍有很大提升空间。
In 2021，both overall layout and individual heritage elements of the property continued to be preserved in an integrated manner. Changes on use of some components are seen positive. Diseases and hazards affecting the property were under effective control. Major factors affecting the property were under continuous and effective monitoring. No natural disasters or destructive human activities occurred to the property. Unearthed objects such as jade wares were preserved or displayed in a collection environment that meets requirements. Construction projects within the property area and the buffer zone all went through strict examination and approval procedures，and process management. In general，the property secured a good state of conservation and management. Heritage interpretation and presentation，education and publicity，and academic research were further improved. Good results were achieved and a trend of positive development secured. Meanwhile，there is still much room for improvement in terms of earthen sites conservation，presentation and interpretation，and professional resources.
