2021年是“十四五”规划开局之年，也是鼓浪屿申遗成功第5个年头。鼓浪屿遗产保护管理机构进一步巩固拓展申遗成果，提升专业保护能力、持续完善遗产监测体系、优化重点空间、继续做好遗产档案建设和价值宣传、促进文旅融合、增强社区治理能力、全面推进文化遗产保护管理工作。2022年鼓浪屿将在学习习近平总书记关于鼓浪屿申遗成功的重要指示精神和致第44届世界遗产大会贺信精神的基础上，以“鼓浪屿：历史国际社区”品质提升为抓手，继续提升遗产保护专业水平、全面推进文旅融合和遗产地精细管理。
The year 2021 marks the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan period and the fifth anniversary of the inscription of the property on the World Heritage List. Based on its successful inscription，Gulangyu heritage protection and management agency continued to enhance conservation capacity，improve the monitoring system，optimize key spaces，develop the archival system and disseminate heritage value，promote integration of culture and tourism，enhance community governance capacity，and facilitate conservation and management in an all-round manner. In 2022，efforts will be made to continue to enhance conservation capacity，promote integration of culture and tourism，and improve refined management of the property，guided by the important instructions made by General Secretary Xi Jinping regarding the inscription of the property and his congratulatory letter to the 44th Session of the World Heritage Committee，with focus on improving the quality of “Kulangsu：a Historic International Settlement”.
