在印太框架下，2022年的澳美同盟关系继续得到强化，澳大利亚的国内政治变动并没有影响澳美关系的发展。拜登政府在推进“印太战略”的过程中，高度重视澳大利亚的地位和作用，在军事和外交上加大对澳大利亚的支持力度。同时，澳大利亚对战略环境的认知更加悲观，无论是联盟党还是工党都竭力向美国靠拢，全力支持美国的“印太战略”。在新的战略环境下，澳美同盟的对华指向性和军事安全底色更加明显，澳大利亚处理对华关系的难度也相应加大。
Under the Indo-Pacific framework，the Australia-US alliance continued to be strengthened in 2022. Australia’s domestic political changes did not affected the development of Australia-US relations. In the process of advancing the Indo-Pacific Strategy，the Biden administration attached great importance to Australia’s status and role and increased military and diplomatic support for Australia. At the same time，Australia had a more pessimistic perception of the strategic environment. Both the Coalition and the Labor Party were trying to get closer to the US and fully support the “Indo-Pacific Strategy” of the US. In the new strategic environment，the Australia-US alliance has become more oriented to aiming at China and its military and security background was more obvious，which made it more difficult for Australia to deal with its relations with China.
