In the early Ming Dynasty，Hai Yuanshan，the new magistrate of Anhua county goes to take office in Huguang province which has jurisdiction over today's Hubei and Hunan province.He was honest and upright，and showed solicitude for the people.Especially the story “using the chamois leather to make people ashamed” becomes a favourite tale in history.During his tenure，the politics and morals of Anhua county were greatly developed.In this paper，a preliminary research result is founded that Hai Yuanshan comes from the family of Hai Luding who is an official of Yuan Dynasty.His father Hai Ning，from Meng Yuan，Ningxia，is the ancestor of the surname of Hai，and Persia is his ancestral home.
