The communication between the Huayu research community and the teaching community is insufficient，and there is a lack of mutual learning. This situation should be changed as soon as possible. The article first looks at Huayu teaching from the perspective of Huayu and its research，and discusses two aspects of teaching standards and teaching content；From the perspective of Huayu teaching，we can see Huayu and its research，and think that the former can explain the causes of Huayu phenomenon and find new research topics and contents. Huayu research and Huayu teaching should be mutual resources. The academic community should consider and treat Huayu research and Huayu teaching in a broader perspective and context.
