The Arctic policy of the United States is subordinate to the overall foreign policy of the United States，serves the global strategy of the United States，and reflects the global strategy of the United States in different historical stages. On October 7，2022，the White House released new Arctic strategy document named the National Strategy for the Arctic Region. The strategy document highlights the Biden administration’s foreign policy philosophy of reshaping the U.S. global alliance system and focusing on national security in an era of great power competition. The implementation of the Arctic strategy of the Biden administration will effectively make up for the loss of American Arctic influence caused by the Trump administration，and the offensive Arctic security strategy upheld by the Biden administration will undoubtedly have a far-reaching impact on Arctic geopolitics. With the resurgence of US leadership and influence in the Arctic region，and the possible intensification of military and security competition in the Arctic region，China needs to pay close attention to the implementation of US Arctic policy and take multiple paths to safeguard its legitimate interests in the Arctic region.
