由全国哲学社会科学工作办公室支持，全国政协文化文史和学习委员会主编、中国文化遗产研究院承编、江苏凤凰出版传媒集团旗下的江苏凤凰科学技术出版社、江苏凤凰美术出版社和江苏人民出版社编辑出版的《大运河画传》和《长城画传》先后于2022年、2023年正式面世，响应了党中央关于大运河、长城国家文化公园建设的重大决策，践行习近平总书记关于加强文化遗产保护利用、“让文物活起来”系列指示精神，做到了内容专业、形式丰富、图文咬合、文字通俗，是文化传播领域的创新佳作，有利于加强大运河和长城的保护管理，充分反映了大运河、长城文化遗产保护传承取得的成就，创新文化遗产社会宣传模式，有利于弘扬中华优秀文化和增强人民群众的文化自信。
The Biography of the Grand Canal and the Biography of the Great Wall were officially published in 2022 and 2023，under the support of the National Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences，chiefly edited by the Committee of Culture，History and Study of the CPPCC，compiled by the China Academy of Cultural Heritage，and published by Phoenix Science Press Ltd. and Jiangsu People’s Publishing House. The publication of these two works followed the important decision of the CPC Central Committee to construct the Grand Canal National Cultural Park and the Great Wall National Cultural Park，and put into practice the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s instructions on strengthening the protection and utilization of cultural heritage and revitalizing cultural relics. The two works are professional and comprehensive in content，graphic and textual design，and popularization. They are innovative and excellent resources for cultural communication，contributing to the strengthening of the protection and management of the Grand Canal and the Great Wall. The publications fully reflect the achievements made in the protection and inheritance of these cultural heritages，and innovate the mode of social popularization of cultural heritage，promote China’s outstanding culture，and enhance Chinese people’s cultural confidence.
