Major marine-related industries are an important factor in promoting the high-quality development of China’s marine economy，and play an important auxiliary role in the growth of marine economy and the development of major marine industries. In 2021，the added value of major marine related industries increased by 8% compared with 2020，accounting for 34.18% of the country’s gross marine product，basically returning to pre-COVID-19 levels. The main related industrial structure of the ocean continues to be optimized，the types of sea-related products are continuously improved，the industrial chain and related supporting facilities are continuously improved，and the promotion，application and transformation of scientific and technological achievements are accelerated，which strongly supports the stability and sustainable development of China’s marine economy. This report systematically sorts out and analyzes the development status and constraints of China’s major marine related industries，and puts forward relevant suggestions from cultivate and strengthen the main body of enterprises and promote the effect of industrial agglomeration；strengthen the cultivation of scientific and technological talents，and collaborative innovation of production，education and research；protect the marine ecological environment and improve the utilization rate of resources；strengthen policy support and institutional guarantees.
