十年战乱对叙利亚社会民生造成了沉重打击，当前社会民生重建工作面临十分复杂和严峻的形势，食品价格居高不下以及高失业率是叙社会民生面临的最大挑战之一。在基础设施重建方面，交通运输系统恢复与重建取得了一定进展，但供水和电力两大系统的重建进程仍需要相当长的周期。2020年全球新冠疫情大流行对社会民生重建工作造成了严重干扰，加重了公共医疗卫生体系的负担。叙利亚的难民、妇女和儿童等弱势群体是亟待人道主义援助的主要受援对象，其生存状况处于重重威胁之下。就前景来看，当前叙利亚社会民生重建工作需要中长期的重建计划，国际社会应当团结一致，摒弃对叙利亚非人道、不公正的国际制裁，加大对叙利亚的人道主义援助，构筑稳定的中东地区秩序。
The ten-year war has dealt a devastating blow to the livelihood in Syria. At present，the reconstruction of social livelihood is facing a very complex and severe situation. High food prices are the biggest challenge facing the livelihood in Syria. In terms of infrastructure reconstruction，some progress has been made in the restoration and reconstruction of the transportation system，but the reconstruction process of the two major systems of water supply and electricity still requires a long period of time. The global COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 has severely disrupted the reconstruction of society and livelihood，and has increased the burden on the public health care system. Specific status groups such as refugees，women and children in Syria are the main recipients of urgent humanitarian assistance，and their living conditions are under threat. In terms of prospects，the current reconstruction of Syrian society livelihood requires a medium-and long-term reconstruction plan. The international community should unite，abandon inhumane and unfair international sanctions against Syria，increase humanitarian assistance to Syria，and build a stable Middle East regional order.
