Under the circumstance of the outbreak of COVID-19，the international situation in 2020 caused by various problems of global economy and politics become severer. The relationships between nations are strained due to the economic crisis resulting from border closures and other restrictive measures. The current chain of global and regional events are affecting，or will affect，Kazakhstan’s national security and even the security of the entire Central Asia. The interaction between internal and external factors leads Kazakhstan’s way of future development. Therefore，the comparison and analysis of internal and external factors will help predicting the interim situation of Kazakhstan in the case of geopolitical instability.
