Transport network construction is a fundamental condition and a driving force for the integration of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Grater Bay Area. In general，with the opening of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High speed Railway and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge，the construction of transport network has enhanced the tightness and balance of inter-city linages in the GBA，strengthened the linkages between cities at the east and west Pearl River，promoted the linkages between Hong Kong，Macao and Guangdong，and formed a relatively balanced multi-polar network connection pattern. There are still some problems in the inter-city linkages in the GBA. Therefore，it is necessary to make overall planning，break through the institutional barriers，promote the linkages and interactions between Hong Kong，Macao and the Pearl River Delta，strengthen the direct linkages between East and west of the Pearl River in Guangdong，Hong Kong and Macao，and give full play to the driving role of the core node cities in the transportation network，so as to build the GBA into a high-quality urban agglomeration.
