求解中美贸易摩擦需要有效地评估知识产权保护水平、自主创新能力以及对外贸易结构的现状。本报告利用2006～2016年广东省地级市的相关统计数据，构建并测算知识产权保护水平评价指标、自主创新能力评价指标以及对外贸易结构指标，利用主成分分析法和描述性统计分析法，研究发现：第一，珠三角城市的知识产权保护水平、自主创新能力和对外贸易结构优化程度在广东省内处于较高水平，但近年来呈现相对弱化趋势；第二，粤东、粤西和粤北城市的知识产权保护水平、自主创新能力和对外贸易结构优化程度不及珠三角城市，但近年来呈现强化趋势，粤东、粤西、粤北城市与珠三角城市之间这三个指标的差距存在缩小趋势；第三，知识产权保护水平、自主创新能力和对外贸易结构之间具有一定的相关性，其中知识产权保护水平和自主创新能力之间的关系更为明确。这些研究结果为广东省提升知识产权保护水平、培育自主创新能力和优化对外贸易结构提供了数据支撑。
For deeper understanding of the Sino-US trade war，effective evaluation of the level of intellectual property protection，innovation ability and trade structure is required. Based on the statistics of prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Province from 2006 to 2016，this report designs and calculates the intellectual property protection index，innovation ability index and trade structure index. Using the principal component analysis and descriptive statistical analysis，this paper finds out：First，the level of intellectual property protection，innovation ability and optimization degree of trade structure of the cities in the Pearl River Delta is at a high level in Guangdong Province，but it shows a downtrend in recent years. Second，the level of intellectual property protection，innovation ability and optimization degree of trade structure of the cities in eastern，western and northern Guangdong Province are weaker than that of the cities in the Pearl River Delta，but it is strengthening in recent years，at the same time，there is a narrowing trend in the gap of the three indicators between the cities of eastern，western and northern Guangdong Province and the cities in Pearl River Delta. Third，there is a certain correlation between the level of intellectual property protection，innovation ability and trade structure，among which the relationship between the level of intellectual property protection and the innovation ability is clearer. These results have provided statistical evidence for Guangdong Province for improvement of the level of intellectual property protection，innovation ability and trade structure.
