Overseas Chinese historical documents have a large number and a wide variety，which are scattered at home and abroad. Based on the in-depth digitization of documents，the technologies of Test data mining，Visualization and GIS application are adopted to enhance the correlation and display of documents. Digital Humanities can provide new methods and tools for the research on the history of Overseas Chinese immigrants，the simulation of Overseas Chinese cultural scenes，the restoration of Overseas Chinese historical buildings，the broadcasting and relocation of Overseas Chinese families，the construction of the historical context of the development of Overseas Chinese businessmen，and the protection and restoration of Overseas Chinese historical documents. In order to do a good job in the construction of overseas Chinese historical documents from the perspective of Digital Humanities，the first task is to strengthen the full-text digitization of paper documents，the second is to build a comprehensive and scientific ontology database and semantic relationship，and the third is to carry out extensive cooperation and joint construction.
