The inter-party interactions between the Communist Party of China （CPC） and political parties in African countries are an important part of the diplomatic work of the CPC and an indispensable part of China’s diplomatic layout. Due to changes in the international situation and needs of national interests，the interactions between the CPC and African political parties have roughly experienced four stages of underpinning，enlivening，changing and flourishing. On the whole，inter-party interactions between China and Africa have shown the characteristics of an increasing number of interactions，more frequent high-level interactions，richer content of interactions，and increasingly mature dialogue mechanisms. In the future，political interactions between the CPC and African political parties need to further consolidate their political foundation and strengthen interactions at the political level；expand diplomatic channels and emphasize the role of democratic parties；build a cooperation platform to promote the construction of a China-Africa community with a shared future.
