非洲国家普遍面临国内民族对立与国家认同较弱的问题,文学作品是记录与传递民族心声的重要形式。本文以21世纪以来,津巴布韦的恩德贝莱族与绍纳族两大族群英语文学作品为研究对象,从文学题材的选取、主题偏好、叙事基调与审美情趣等方面,分析比较两大族群作家群体在国家认同方面的差异,以及彼此间民族对立的焦点和表现。
African countries generally confront the problems of domestic ethnic opposition and weak national identity,and literary works are important vehicles for recording and conveying the sentiments of different ethnic groups. This article takes the literary works in English by writers from Ndebele and Shona,the two main ethnic groups in Zimbabwe since the beginning of the 21st century as the research objects. In terms of their selection of subject matters,thematic preference,narrative tone and aesthetic taste,the article analyzes and compares the differences in national identity between the two ethnic groups of writers,as well as the focus and expression of ethnic opposition between them.
