2021 is the first year for Vietnam to implement the spirit of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam，the five-year socio-economic development plan from 2021 to 2025 and the ten-year socio-economic development strategy from 2021 to 2030. Development plans for the five major fields of transportation were formulated simultaneously for the first time. While overcoming the impact of COVID-19 pandemic，Vietnam continued to promote infrastructure construction，with transport of goods highlighted. The postal industry continued to develop. Autonomy was emphasized in the field of information and communication. Digital transformation has been comprehensively planned and promoted in the country，and E-government further enhanced. Supporting agriculture and education in the transportation and communication fileds became the highlights of the year in the fields of transportation and communication.
