2021年是越南政治发展重要的一年，越共十三大召开并产生新一届中央委员会，国会代表选举举行，实现国会和政府换届，党建和政治体系建设进一步得到加强。疫情下越南宏观经济稳定，一些经济指标实现正增长，2021年国内生产总值增长2.58%。在对外关系方面，越南大力开展疫苗外交，继续全面深度融入国际社会。越南重视文化发展，文化和体育事业取得新成就。应对疫情贯穿于2021年越南全年的政治、经济、外交和社会的工作之中。
The year 2021 was an important one for Vietnam’s political development. The 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam（CPV）was held and formed a new leading body of the CPV Central Committee，and established Vietnam’s medium and long term development strategic goals of the country. Meanwhile，the election of deputies to the legislature and all-level People’s Councils was conducted and the new tenure of the National Assembly and the government were formed，and the party building and political system construction were further strengthened. The macro economy of Vietnam remained stable under the severe COVID-19 pandemic，and some economic indicators achieved positive growth，with its GDP increased by 2.58% in 2021. In terms of foreign relations，Vietnam promoted its vaccine diplomacy vigorously and continued to strive to fully integrate into the international community. Great importance was also attached to the cultural development，and new achievements were made both in culture and sports undertakings. Coping with the pandemic lasted throughout the year on the country’s political，economic，diplomatic and social work.
