当前，伴随着数字化进程的推进，新文科实验室建设已成为社会科学研究迈向“第四范式”的关键一环。然而，由于资金和技术门槛的限制，新文科实验室建设面临关键难题，即大体量数据的稳定供应和多模态数据的可计算。其中，前一个主要是用以解决文科大数据研究没有数据、缺乏数据的问题以及拥有了数据难以有效阅读的问题；而后一个则着眼于服务那些没有编程知识的人如何进行大体量数据计算，以及谁来供应算力支撑的问题。就此而言，唯有解决好这两个“卡脖子”的关键问题，新文科实验室建设才能真正助力文科研究走向数据密集型科学研究和智能化分析，即真正迈入“第四范式”。
Currently，with the advancement of digitization，establishing new liberal arts laboratories has become a crucial step for social science research to transition into the “Fourth Paradigm”. However，due to limitations in funding and technological barriers，the construction of these new liberal arts laboratories faces key challenges. These challenges include ensuring a stable supply of large-scale data and enhancing the computability of multimodal data. The former issue primarily aims to address the lack of data and the difficulty in effectively accessing data in liberal arts big data research. The latter problem focuses on enabling non-programmers to perform large-scale data computations and determining who will provide the necessary computational support. Therefore，only by effectively addressing these two critical issues can the construction of new liberal arts laboratories genuinely contribute to the advancement of data-intensive scientific research and intelligent analysis in the liberal arts，thus embracing the “Fourth Paradigm”.
