From the perspective of macro policies and the market environment，this paper systematically examines the current upstream and downstream industrial chains and technology development trends within the smart light pole industry. It takes the successful example of the digital transformation of the lighting industry in Nanjing，which contributes to the urban digital reality integration development，as a case study.
