Big data not only changes the way government makes decisions，but also promotes the precision of government decisions. At present，the application of the government’s accurate decision-making of big data services is still in the primary stage. There are obstacles in the integration of government and enterprise data，government data analysis，data security and confidentiality，management system and mechanisms，etc.，resulting in the common problems such as：people can hardly and correctly use the data，or unwilling，even dare not use the data. From the perspective of how the government big data analysis platform serves the accurate decision-making of government departments，combined with the cases of big data analysis platforms of the state and some provincial units in our province，this paper summarizes and puts forward the promotion of digital transformation to realize the modernization of provincial governance capabilities，the improvement of the emergency response ability of big data in response to emergencies，and implementing the construction of the digital Yangtze River Delta，building the digital economy industrial ecology with data as the key factor，improving the resource factor guarantee ability，providing standardized services to meet the needs of the masses of the people，planning scenario services and other suggestions to improve the government’s decision-making ability with big data application.
