在阮朝的历史发展过程中，特别是在嘉隆帝和嗣德帝统治时期，颁布了许多直接影响佛教寺庙修建的谕旨，其中最引人关注的是关于禁止新建佛教寺庙以及限制重修古寺的旨令。通过收集、整理和研究阮朝对前李朝到黎中兴时期所建古寺的重修碑记，剖析当时重修寺庙的缘由和实际情况，有助于了解阮朝时期对故都升龙地区的寺庙修缮与翻修情况及其当时的佛教发展问题。
Trong nguồn sử liệu thời Nguyễn，đặc biệt dưới thời vua Gia Long và Tự Đức （ở Việt Nam） đã ban hành một số chỉ dụ cứng rắn，trực tiếp ảnh hưởng đến sự phát triển của các cơ sở thờ tự Phật giáo，đáng chú ý có những đạo chỉ dụ nhằm cấm đoán xây dựng hệ thống chùa mới，cũng như hạn chế việc trùng tu lại những ngôi chùa cũ. Trong khuôn khổ bài nghiên cứu này，chúng tôi xin điểm qua việc trùng tu hệ thống những ngôi chùa cổ được xây dựng từ thời Tiền Lý đến thời Lê Trung hưng qua tư liệu văn bia，để qua đó tìm hiểu rõ hơn vấn đề này trên thực tế được diễn ra như thế nào，đặc biệt ở đất Thăng Long-Hà Nội，nơi mà các vua Nguyễn coi là vùng đất Cố đô.
During the historical development of the Nguyen Dynasty，especially during the reigns of Emperor Jialong and Tu Duc，many decrees directly affecting the construction of Buddhist temples were promulgated. Among them，the most interesting ones are the prohibition of new Buddhist temples and restrictions on rebuilding ancient temples. By collecting and compiling the monuments of the restoration of the Nguyen Dynasty in the ancient temples built during the period from the Li Dynasty to the Revival Lê dynasty，and analyzing the reason and actual situation of the temple restoration at that time，this article offers new insights to understand the renovation of the local temples by the Emperor Nguyen Dynasty who regarded the Thang Long area of Hanoi as the old capital.
