人文交流与政治互信、经贸合作共同构成新时代中国对外政策的三大支柱。中日关系在中国的对外关系中具有重要地位。1972年中日复交以来，特别是1978年中国改革开放以来，发展与日本的关系始终是党和国家对外工作的一项重要任务，也是中国改革开放进程的重要组成部分，人文交流在其中扮演了重要角色。回顾总结历史、分析现状问题，对于今后进一步开展中日人文交流，促进东亚地区乃至世界的和平、发展与繁荣具有重要意义。
Humanistic exchanges，together with political mutual trust and economic and trade cooperation，constitute the three pillars of China’s foreign policy in the new era. Since the restoration of diplomatic relations between China and Japan in 1972，the development of relations with Japan has always been an important task of the Party and the State in its foreign affairs，and an important part of China’s reform and opening-up process，in which humanistic exchanges played an important role. Reviewing and summarizing the history and analyzing the current problems are of great significance for further developing China-Japan humanistic exchanges in the future and promoting peace，development and prosperity in the East Asian region and the world.
