With the increasingly serious global climate problem，carbon emission has become the focus of global attention. In order to deal with climate change and reduce carbon emissions，regional carbon markets have emerged. As an important means，digital technology can provide effective support and guarantee for the construction and development of regional carbon market. This paper analyzes the problems existing in the MRV system，the key mechanism supporting the carbon market，and takes the integrated carbon monitoring machine based on the Internet of Things and blockchain technology as an example to discuss the application of digital technology in improving the MRV system and promoting the construction of regional carbon market，in order to provide reference for promoting the application of digital technology in the regional carbon market.
