Digital disconnection has become increasingly important in digital life as a regulatory act of over-connection. This study focuses on the conceptual interpretation of digital disconnection, the influencing factors of digital disconnection, the practical paths of digital disconnection and the theoretical considerations of digital disconnection. Digital disconnection is not a dichotomy with connectivity and is divided into voluntary and involuntary disconnection,long-term and short-term disconnection. There are many influences on digital disconnection, and the decisions that drive people to voluntarily disconnect are primarily a consideration of risk and a desire for demand. In addition, digital disconnection is not just about individual practices such as putting down mobile phones and not using social media, but also about collective digital detoxification actions and support for the right to disconnect at a societal level. Finally, digital disconnection is about issues of availability, history and subjectivity and so on. When any new medium first appears, there are wake-up callers to remind users of what we might lose. We should shape and use technology in a way that respects our own subjectivity.
