A rebellion happened in Guizhou countryside,which was situated in Shunde,Pearl River Estuary,in 1662. The incident had attracted Shang Kexi’s attention and he sent troops to suppress the rebellion many times. The incident was finally settled under the coordination of Guizhou villagers and some Qing army leaders. Some scholars took this incident as perspective to discussed the policy of “Coastal Evacuation” in the early Qing Dynasty. However,the specific details and internal reasons of the incident are still unclear. We can make a textual research on the doubts of “The incident of Guizhou”,including the the cause of the rebellion and who was the head of the rebels. In essence,the incident was the game and interaction between the official and local forces when the Qing Dynasty integrated the local forces by force in the early Qing Dynasty.
