This paper starts with the discussion of the beginning of the Yuan overseas trade shortly the Song was taken over，and the Yuan official institutions responsible for foreign trade the regulations issued by them. Then the author focuses on the Yuan trade partner nations and regions，as well as the navigation lines followed by Chinese ships when sailing to Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean area from China’s coast.
