With the continued development of blockchain technology，the further popularization of blockchain applications，the rising metaverse，the intensification of competition for financial discourse，and the turmoil in the crypto market，countries/regions present many new changes in blockchain policies in 2022. These changes are mainly reflected in the following：promoting the deep integration of blockchain and various industries and the energy efficiency of its application；implementing more systematic and strict regulation of cryptocurrencies；more economies participating in the development and application of central bank digital currencies；rapid follow-up on the construction of metaverse industry and ecology；and larger and deeper international exchanges and cooperation. Overall，how to realize the linkage of technology and application，the balance of innovation and regulation，the balance of openness and controllability，and the interaction of industry and ecology are the important main lines of blockchain policy. In addition，the comparison between China and foreign countries shows that China’s blockchain policy focuses more on the integration of blockchain technology with government and people’s livelihood and the real economy，and is more systematic and sustainable，and its long-term promotion of the digital economy and digital governance is worthy of attention.
