在粤港澳大湾区建设成为国家重大发展战略的背景下，打造科学密集型产业将有利于更好地体现粤港澳大湾区作为国际科技创新中心的地位，为粤港澳大湾区经济高质量发展提供持续的发展动力。本报告在厘清科学密集型产业含义的基础上，介绍了粤港澳大湾区发展该产业的必要性和基础，并认为现阶段粤港澳大湾区应该加大基础研究领域投入力度，培育科学密集型产业园以及建立产业发展组织保障等。
This report gives the meaning and basic characteristics of science-intensive industries，and proposes that under the background that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has become a major national development strategy，the creation of science-intensive industries will help better reflect the status of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as an international technological innovation center and provide sustained development momentum for the high-quality economic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. At the same time，it introduces the necessity and basis for the development of the industry in the Greater Bay Area，and gives basic development ideas and policy recommendations for the development of the industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
