全球化和信息化背景下，全球联系在城市竞争力和能级提升方面发挥了重要作用。通过对高端生产性服务业全球分支网络的分析发现，2022年广州全球城市联系度居全球主要城市第33位，较2020年提升1个位次，已由边缘的全球城市稳步进入一线全球城市行列。受新冠疫情影响，广州对外联系的全球化程度有所下降，向亚太地区转移比较明显，且更多依赖国内和粤港澳大湾区。不同行业对广州全球联系度的贡献有所不同，金融联系度较高，法律咨询和管理咨询联系度较低。未来，广州应充分发挥国际交通枢纽和综合性门户城市优势，加快提升高端生产性服务业对外开放水平和国际化招商引资力度，更好地融入全球生产和服务网络，实现全球联系度持续跃升。
Under the background of globalization and information technology，global connection plays an important role in the competitiveness and upgrading of cities. Through the analysis of the global branch network of high-end producer services，it is found that Guangzhou ranks 33rd among the world’s major cities in terms of its global urban connectivity in 2022，one place higher than that in 2020，and it has steadily entered the ranks of first-tier global cities from a marginal global city. Due to the impact of COVID-19，the degree of globalization of Guangzhou’s external relations has slightly decreased，and the transfer to the Asia-Pacific region is obvious，and it relies more on China and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The contribution of different industries to Guangzhou’s global connectedness is different. The financial connection is strong，while the legal and management consulting connection is weak. In the future，Guangzhou should give full play to its advantages as an international transportation hub and comprehensive gateway city，accelerate the opening up of high-end producer services and international investment attraction，better integrate into the global production and service network，and realize the continuous improvement of global connectivity.
