城市发展向“人本”理念转型背景下，对于城市累积性竞争优势的评价已不能完全反映城市的真实竞争力。本研究通过构建以人民城市为出发点的全球城市竞争力评价指标体系，结合专家问卷调查与数据调查结果，对纽约、伦敦、巴黎、东京、新加坡和上海6个全球主要大都市进行比较。从而阐述城市竞争力评价精准化的路径，并针对上海以“人民”为核心的城市发展侧重方向提出建议。
Under the background of the transformation of urban development to the concept of “people-oriented”，the evaluation of urban cumulative competitive advantage cannot completely reflect the real competitiveness of cities. This study builds a global urban competitiveness evaluation index system based on People’s City theory. Combined with the results of expert questionnaire and data survey，this study compares six major global Metropolises：New York，London，Paris，Tokyo，Singapore and Shanghai. Therefore to elaborate the path of accurate evaluation of urban competitiveness and put forward suggestions on the direction of urban development with “people” as the core for Shanghai.
