In 2021，the trade and investment between China and Portuguese-speaking countries grew despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic，reflecting the huge development potential and complementarity of bilateral economic，trade and investment cooperation，among which the facilitation of bilateral trade and investment is an important driving force. In recent years，outstanding achievements have been made in trade and investment facilitation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries，including the development of legal protection，mechanism construction，trade and investment promotion agencies，and multilateral and bilateral trade and investment promotion platforms. Looking ahead，cooperation in digital economy and digital infrastructure construction，multilateral and regional trade and investment liberalization and development will all promote trade and investment facilitation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries. China and Portuguese-speaking countries should actively promote the liberalization and facilitation of economic and trade cooperation from both long-term and short-term perspectives，and promote the high-quality development of trade and investment cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.
